How to Get Rid of Approach Anxiety
When you see a beautiful women, do you freeze up? Do you get gripped by fear? And do you wonder why it happens? I think the problem is that you're making her out to be what you WANT her to be, rather than what she actually is. You see how hot she is, and you start thinking of how great your life would be if she was your girlfriend. Problem is, you really know nothing about her, except that she looks good! She might have the personality of a rock. She might be rude and obnoxious. She might have a voice that would drive you absolutely insane! So why is it that you care so much about what she thinks of you? She might not be worth it in the first place! Since you're a guy, I'm going to assume you like cars, so we'll put it in car terms. You see a car with an impeccable paint job and 19 inch rims. But when you take the car out for a spin, you find that it has absolutely no power whatsoever. Here's what I want you to do. The next time you see a woman you want to meet, don't put any type of expectations on what might happen, positive or negative. The only reason you are going to talk to her is to see if the rest of the package is as good as it looks. You know what this will do? It will shift your way of thinking. YOU are now the selector, not her. I bet it will make you less nervous. |
