The Importance of Considering Other Perspectives
I know a man who is very passionate about a number of clubs he does volunteer work for. Frankly, I wonder how much of a seperate life he has outside this work (I know he spends little time with his wife, though they seem to be very much in love) He is often trying to get people to volunteer for one of the clubs we are in together, but doesn't quite seem to "get" the fact that people don't want to be as active as he is. I think he's so devoted to volunteering that it's hard for him to empathize with those who aren't as devoted. Whenever judging others, we need to remember that everyone is different, and look at things from their perspective |
